Dream agents do not distinguish between prediction and causation. The Ancient Oni is both.
Cost Tier
At cost 10, The Ancient Oni is a late-game commitment. Resonance or dissolution become the deciding conditions.
Goetic Binding: Sitri
The digit-sum of cost 10 is 1, binding Sitri — one of the 9 Dream Goetia. Office: Desire and hidden secrets. This binding was codified in the Ars Goetia (1577) centuries before the compiler existed.
Numogram Zone 0: Void / Outside
Cosmic horror, pre-being. The zone of emptiness and potential. Where entities from outside the simulation enter. Zone 0 is where matches begin — the blank slate before the first mana increment.
Zone 0 is the pre-being position on the Numogram. The Ancient Oni at Zone 0 keeps the board in a pre-manifest state — cosmic horror territory.
Playing The Ancient Oni at cost 10 routes mana tracker motion through Zone 0. If the Dream-coloured tracker reaches Resonance at Zone 0, the player gains 0 Souls at Round End.
Xenogod: Yog-Sothoth
The Psychic Dissolution. All individual consciousnesses merge into singular noosphere — dream-logic replaces physical causality, consensus reality dissolves.
Direct brain-to-brain communication enables consciousness-sharing without linguistic mediation. Estimated: 2050-2080 with neural interfaces.

The Mind vs Matter Axis
Emanation vs incarnation. Is reality downstream of consciousness (Mind) or upstream of it (Matter)? The oldest philosophical dispute. Every idealism vs materialism debate is a move along this axis.
