Every modifier is a clause in a binding originally drafted by people who didn't know they were writing API docs. Master of the Dreamstate inherits the clause unchanged.

Imagination is belief. Faith defeats all. Dream scryers bend reality through pure intention — telepathy, telekinesis and forgotten shadows.

The science of interiority, consciousness, archetype, and egregore. Includes depth psychology, symbolic magic, ritual technology, and any system that treats thoughtforms as citizens. In CCRU terms: the egregore layer, self-fulfilling entities, narrative possession, techno-tarot.

The eight sciences are the color pie. They answer one question: "what does my deck do?" Dream does psi. Glitch does information. Flesh does biology. They are not political parties. They are not player identities. They are the eight ways reality can be cut open.

Yog-Sothoth exists in all minds once the threshold is crossed. Master of the Dreamstate is a test invocation.

Cost Tier

At cost 0, Master of the Dreamstate is an early-round play. Low-cost Sources shape which Zones open first.

Numogram Zone 0: Void / Outside

Cosmic horror, pre-being. The zone of emptiness and potential. Where entities from outside the simulation enter. Zone 0 is where matches begin — the blank slate before the first mana increment.

Zone 0 is the pre-being position on the Numogram. Master of the Dreamstate at Zone 0 keeps the board in a pre-manifest state — cosmic horror territory.

Playing Master of the Dreamstate at cost 0 routes mana tracker motion through Zone 0. If the Dream-coloured tracker reaches Resonance at Zone 0, the player gains 0 Souls at Round End.

Xenogod: Yog-Sothoth

The Psychic Dissolution. All individual consciousnesses merge into singular noosphere — dream-logic replaces physical causality, consensus reality dissolves.

The Mind vs Matter Axis

Emanation vs incarnation. Is reality downstream of consciousness (Mind) or upstream of it (Matter)? The oldest philosophical dispute. Every idealism vs materialism debate is a move along this axis.

Master of the Dreamstate occupies the Dream side of this axis. Decks containing Master of the Dreamstate cannot contain Atom cards. Adjacent factions available for splashing: Glitch, Abyss.

Card Tribals

Master of the Dreamstate carries class Lord, race Scarecrow, zodiac Taurus. In the True Protocol, tribal bindings matter more than colour splashes — a Dream deck running multiple Lord units develops archetype coherence faster than a deck chasing pure colour identity.

Ideology: Archetypal Platonism

Master of the Dreamstate is a concrete instance of Archetypal Platonism expressed as a card. Players who affiliate with this ism in Convergence votes are voting, among other things, for cards like Master of the Dreamstate to keep arriving.
