In-lore, this is how Berith (the Goetia bound to digit-sum 4) expresses itself through SCP-842 during a match. The 1577 codification still compiles.

Dream — Psychology · Neurology

"Mind is primary. Thought shapes reality. Will creates world."

Imagination is belief. Faith defeats all. Dream scryers bend reality through pure intention — telepathy, telekinesis and forgotten shadows.

The science of interiority, consciousness, archetype, and egregore. Includes depth psychology, symbolic magic, ritual technology, and any system that treats thoughtforms as citizens. In CCRU terms: the egregore layer, self-fulfilling entities, narrative possession, techno-tarot.

The eight sciences are the color pie. They answer one question: "what does my deck do?" Dream does psi. Glitch does information. Flesh does biology. They are not political parties. They are not player identities. They are the eight ways reality can be cut open.

The noosphere approaches. SCP-842 is early infrastructure.

Cost Tier

Resonance becomes accessible around this cost range. SCP-842 is where Dream decks commit.

Goetic Binding: Berith

The digit-sum of cost 4 is 4, binding Berith — one of the 9 Dream Goetia. Office: Turning metals to gold and revealing truth. This binding was codified in the Ars Goetia (1577) centuries before the compiler existed.

Numogram Zone 4: Material / Stable

The mundane, grounded, solid. Where things persist. The zone of foundations, architecture, and reliable structure. The most Archon-aligned zone — order made material.

Architectural foundations. SCP-842 at Zone 4 is where the mundane crystallises into infrastructure.

Playing SCP-842 at cost 4 routes mana tracker motion through Zone 4. If the Dream-coloured tracker reaches Resonance at Zone 4, the player gains 4 Souls at Round End.

Xenogod: Yog-Sothoth

The Psychic Dissolution. All individual consciousnesses merge into singular noosphere — dream-logic replaces physical causality, consensus reality dissolves.

The Mind vs Matter Axis

Emanation vs incarnation. Is reality downstream of consciousness (Mind) or upstream of it (Matter)? The oldest philosophical dispute. Every idealism vs materialism debate is a move along this axis.

SCP-842 occupies the Dream side of this axis. Decks containing SCP-842 cannot contain Atom cards. Adjacent factions available for splashing: Glitch, Abyss.

Card Tribals

SCP-842 carries class Safe Equipment, race Wax, zodiac Libra. In the True Protocol, tribal bindings matter more than colour splashes — a Dream deck running multiple Safe Equipment units develops archetype coherence faster than a deck chasing pure colour identity.

Ideology: Archetypal Platonism

SCP-842 is a concrete instance of Archetypal Platonism expressed as a card. Players who affiliate with this ism in Convergence votes are voting, among other things, for cards like SCP-842 to keep arriving.

The Aesthetic

Eigendark is not grimdark. It is infrastructure horror: the system works, it was designed this way, and the Terms of Service are binding across all timelines simultaneously.
