Every modifier is a clause in a binding originally drafted by people who didn't know they were writing API docs. Zeckling inherits the clause unchanged.

At cost 4, Zeckling is a mid-game power spike. The Numogram has already bent toward one side of its axis.

Goetic Binding: Samigina

The digit-sum of cost 4 is 4, binding Samigina — one of the 9 Chaos Goetia. Office: Teaching liberal sciences and speaking with the dead. This binding was codified in the Ars Goetia (1577) centuries before the compiler existed.

Numogram Zone 4: Material / Stable

The mundane, grounded, solid. Where things persist. The zone of foundations, architecture, and reliable structure. The most Archon-aligned zone — order made material.

Zone 4 is the most Archon-aligned zone. Zeckling here is stable, enforcing, material.

Playing Zeckling at cost 4 routes mana tracker motion through Zone 4. If the Chaos-coloured tracker reaches Resonance at Zone 4, the player gains 4 Souls at Round End.

Xenogod: Azathoth

The Quantum Chaos. Quantum indeterminacy amplifies to macro scale — causality itself becomes probabilistic, reality boils with ontological uncertainty.

The Quantum vs Gravity Axis

Entropy vs order. Explosion vs implosion. The two eternal oscillations: the universe trying to fly apart and the universe trying to collapse in on itself. Observation collapses one, increases uncertainty in the other.

Zeckling occupies the Chaos side of this axis. Decks containing Zeckling cannot contain Abyss cards. Adjacent factions available for splashing: Flesh, Atom.

Card Tribals

Zeckling carries class Telepath, race Slime Bug. In the True Protocol, tribal bindings matter more than colour splashes — a Chaos deck running multiple Telepath units develops archetype coherence faster than a deck chasing pure colour identity.

Ideology: Probabilistic Demonology

Zeckling is a concrete instance of Probabilistic Demonology expressed as a card. Players who affiliate with this ism in Convergence votes are voting, among other things, for cards like Zeckling to keep arriving.

The Aesthetic
