The card has no modifier. In the Pandemonium-Matrix reading, this is a card whose Lemurian name shapes its behaviour without requiring the Solomonic clause layer.

Cost Tier

Late-game Chaos plays carry their full ideology. Quantumbane is not a tempo card; it is a statement.

Goetic Binding: Gusion

The digit-sum of cost 10 is 1, binding Gusion — one of the 9 Chaos Goetia. Office: Telling present/past/future and reconciling friendships. This binding was codified in the Ars Goetia (1577) centuries before the compiler existed.

Numogram Zone 0: Void / Outside

Cosmic horror, pre-being. The zone of emptiness and potential. Where entities from outside the simulation enter. Zone 0 is where matches begin — the blank slate before the first mana increment.

Zone 0 is the pre-being position on the Numogram. Quantumbane at Zone 0 keeps the board in a pre-manifest state — cosmic horror territory.

Playing Quantumbane at cost 10 routes mana tracker motion through Zone 0. If the Chaos-coloured tracker reaches Resonance at Zone 0, the player gains 0 Souls at Round End.

Xenogod: Azathoth

The Quantum Chaos. Quantum indeterminacy amplifies to macro scale — causality itself becomes probabilistic, reality boils with ontological uncertainty.

The Quantum vs Gravity Axis

Entropy vs order. Explosion vs implosion. The two eternal oscillations: the universe trying to fly apart and the universe trying to collapse in on itself. Observation collapses one, increases uncertainty in the other.

Quantumbane occupies the Chaos side of this axis. Decks containing Quantumbane cannot contain Abyss cards. Adjacent factions available for splashing: Flesh, Atom.

Card Tribals

Quantumbane carries class Cyborg, race Drow. In the True Protocol, tribal bindings matter more than colour splashes — a Chaos deck running multiple Cyborg units develops archetype coherence faster than a deck chasing pure colour identity.

Ideology: Probabilistic Demonology

Quantumbane is a concrete instance of Probabilistic Demonology expressed as a card. Players who affiliate with this ism in Convergence votes are voting, among other things, for cards like Quantumbane to keep arriving.
