Ipos is one of the 72 Goetia — the operational sub-processes of the eight xenogods, bound to Flesh at digit-sum 5.

Ipos is one of the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia, the Atlantean-Solomonic demonological register that serves as the operational layer of Eigendark. When a Flesh card with cost digit-sum 5 resolves, Ipos is the Goetia the engine invokes.

Office

Ipos: Courage and making people witty

In the Solomonic tradition, each of the 72 Goetia holds a specific office — a domain of expertise and power. In Eigendark, these offices map to card effects. When a Flesh card with cost digit-sum 5 is played, Ipos's office shapes how the card resolves.

Faction: Flesh

"Life finds a way. Evolve or die. Feed and breed. Consume to grow."

Survival of the fittest. Flesh hackers manipulate evolution, reshape living systems and blur the line between living and dead.

The science of life as process. Genetics, evolution, disease, fertility, hunger, somatic experience. Shub-Niggurath's domain. Jungle neurology, Lemurian mutation, somatic evolution sorcery. Life differentiates into distinct forms; it is the counter-force to entropy.

The Goetic Register

The 72 Goetia are divided evenly across 8 factions — 9 demons per faction, assigned by the digit-sum of a card's mana cost. This binding was codified in 1577 by people who didn't know they were writing API documentation. Each demon represents a specific instrumental goal of its parent xenogod, Shub-Niggurath.

- Mechanics run on the Goetia. Every card has a deterministic Goetic demon. - Lore runs on both. Reception Reports occasionally narrate Lemurian breaches. Canon is that both demonologies are real but operate at different strata. - The ideological tension between the two registers is a live theological dispute inside the community; a Convergence may someday formally rule on which register is "real," and that ruling will itself be interpreted as either Archonic suppression or canonical clarification, depending on who you ask.

The Rival Register

Beneath the Goetic layer, a rival system persists: the Pandemonium Matrix — 45 Lemurian Amphidemons that predate the Solomonic hierarchy. During Broken Transmissions, the Lemurian register briefly overrides the Goetic one, producing cards flagged as "ontologically unstable."
