Valac is one of the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia, the Atlantean-Solomonic demonological register that serves as the operational layer of Eigendark. When a Chaos card with cost digit-sum 3 resolves, Valac is the Goetia the engine invokes.

Office

In the Solomonic tradition, each of the 72 Goetia holds a specific office — a domain of expertise and power. In Eigendark, these offices map to card effects. When a Chaos card with cost digit-sum 3 is played, Valac's office shapes how the card resolves.

Faction: Chaos

Vibration begets energy and form. Chaos sorcerers reach into parallel timelines and create what should have never been.

The science of indeterminacy. Quantum mechanics, chaos theory, probability, divination, the primordial pre-cosmic flux. Azathoth as the nuclear chaos at the center. Hyperstition lives partly here, because belief-states collapse probability distributions.

The Goetic Register

The 72 Goetia are divided evenly across 8 factions — 9 demons per faction, assigned by the digit-sum of a card's mana cost. This binding was codified in 1577 by people who didn't know they were writing API documentation. Each demon represents a specific instrumental goal of its parent xenogod, Azathoth.

The rival system is CCRU's Pandemonium Matrix, codified in the Lemurian Necronomicon. Forty-five Amphidemons, named in phonetic Lemurian: Lurgo, Duoddod, Doogu, and so on. Each has a Mesh-address (Mesh-00 through Mesh-44), a zone-binding on the numogram, and a non-Goetic office. They do not fit the Solomonic hierarchy. They predate it and refuse to be bound by it.

The Rival Register

Beneath the Goetic layer, a rival system persists: the Pandemonium Matrix — 45 Lemurian Amphidemons that predate the Solomonic hierarchy. During Broken Transmissions, the Lemurian register briefly overrides the Goetic one, producing cards flagged as "ontologically unstable."
